On 26 September 1943, 14 British and Australian members of the ‘Z’ Special Unit carried out a raid on Japanese shipping in Singapore’s harbour. It was considered one of the most successful special operations conducted during WWII and it was called Operation Jaywick.
All are welcome to join us to commemorate the heroic efforts of these men, and the sacrifices of the civilians.
